Progress is Progress

Hello!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Time for some Motivational Monday!

Still on track with your new year resolutions?

I’m sure January is the easiest month to stay on track since we still are on the “new year, new me” hype.

Have you made much progress since January 1?

If not, that’s ok, it has only been one week since then. We still have 51 weeks to work on our goals for the year.

Hopefully, you have been successful in setting your goals and figuring out what you need to do to reach those goals.

A simple but effective and encouraging quote:

“Slow progress is better than no progress.”

7 words to motivate you today.

You most likely haven’t seen a ton of progress since January 1st.

That is totally okay! Give yourself a break. It’s only been a week!

Slow progress is better than none. So true!

Progress no matter how slow is a sign that your on the right track. You are on your way to crushing your goals.

Sometimes, there can be pain on the way to obtaining your goals. Depending on what kind of pain you’re experiencing, the pain can be a good thing.

If you’re experiencing any physical pain, that is NOT good, and you should go to the doctor.

If you are experiencing soreness from exercising, that is the kind pain that may feel horrible but is amazing for your body.

Believe me, sometimes the soreness can be unbearable. This is not the time to give up!

If you are so sore that you can barely move, use that day to rest up.

My main motivation behind this quote was mainly focusing on fitness, but you can apply this quote to any area of your life.

Progress is progress. No matter how slow you are going, as long as, you keep moving forward, you are on your way to doing some pretty awesome stuff.

Don’t quit if you were hoping to have a perfectly fit body by the end of January. That’s not really a reasonable goal. It’s easier to crush your goals when they are reasonable.

Want to have a body that’s ready for summertime fun? If you started now, you should definitely see some progress by then.

The only way to see almost instant results regarding fitness is when you decide to take drastic, unhealthy measures.

I do not recommend this!

Slow progress means you are making your way to reaching your goals.

Be thankful for the progress you see and keep going.

You can do this!

Have a great day!
