How have you been faring through cov-19?

Are you stressed, panicked, fatigued, wondering what’s happened to people’s humanity?

Everyone deals with their circumstances differently.

Unfortunately, that’s not always a good thing., but we can’t control other people’s reactions. They get to decide whether or not their going to panic.

Why would some Christians turn to panic instead of their loving Savior?

Are they really trusting in God?

God has a plan greater than ourselves. While we don’t know what God is going to do through this situation, we know that we can fully lean on Him. He knows what He is doing. In His timing, this will all be but a memory.

What kind of world do we live in where people steal from other people’s shopping carts? Where they have to grab all the non-perishable food possible before someone else can get any.

Have we grown so far from God that He is using this pandemic as a wake up call for our nation, for the world?

II Chron. 7: 13-14

“If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

 

Throughout our lives, we may be wondering, “what is God doing?” God just wants us to fully trust Him.

We pray for revival, but is that just words we are praying or do we truly seek revival.

If I want to become a better cook, but I never step foot in the kitchen, how long will it take for me to become a professional chef? The answer is simple.

If I daily choose to never step foot in the kitchen, I’m never going to become a great chef.

If I strive to become a better Christian and grow closer to God, but I never spend time with Him, how long will it take for me to truly yearn for His presence?

God works in mysterious ways. We don’t know the many miracles that could result from this pandemic.

With so many of us trying to self-isolate and spend time alone in our humble abodes, what are we doing with the extra time?

Will what we are doing at this very moment really matter for eternity?

If the answer is no, how can we fix that?

Choose to spend this time to grow closer to God.

I believe that God wants us to draw closer to Him than ever before.

What is God doing through this? We don’t know just yet.

He is wanting us to call out to Him to help us through this. He is wanting us to lean on Him fully.

He wants to be number one in each of our lives.

He is using this pandemic to draw us closer to Him.

Are we listening to His heeding?

Will we spend this time with Him?

What are you choosing through these times? Panic or Peace. Fear or faith.

Wait on God. Draw near to Him. Let Him work in the way that only He can.
