2017

That split second after someone asks you how 2017 was and your mind goes blank…

“What did I do?”

(This isn’t my typical encouraging blog post. Just reflecting on 2017 and thought I would share with you)

As I reflected month by month, I actually was able to remember some great memories from 2017.

Here are a few:

January

1st- I began this blog!

March

25 – First little league softball practice helping as an assistant coach.

April

  • My cousin and I joined up to do a month long lettering challenge on Instagram. I actually lasted the whole month…I really didn’t know if I could, but anything is possible!
  • My parents came to visit for a few days. It was so much fun having them. Since my Dad’s birthday was going to be right after my parents left, I took them to a barbecue place and later that night surprised him with cake and gelato.

May

19 – the last little league softball game for the season. It was so much fun, even if I’m more used to baseball than softball. We celebrated with an ice cream party. There could’ve been no better way to end the season.

July

7 – My brother and I road tripped to Florida and enjoyed the beautiful sun and sand.

29 – Since my brother enjoys soccer, I took him to the International Champions Cup: Manchester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur

September

27 – Traveled with my parents to the Cayman Islands for a fun vacation.

December

14 – Attended a Christmas symphony with friends – the music was amazing!

20 – Flew home for Christmas. I dreamed of having a white Christmas. I wasn’t disappointed!

These were some great memories of 2017, but looking forward to what 2018 will bring!

What were some of your favorite memories of 2017?
